Jade ocelot.
The scectret ingedient is sleep deprivation. Let slip the bonds of madness.
Double kamchatka revenge. Ish ish ish. susurrus us us us.
The sound of words, the sound of worms. The almost echose.
Ess ess ess. SPSS espeeessess.
Epi. Un epi. La epi. Epistle. The point?
Epee. From old french espe, from latin spatha. (WTF french).
The return to the old ways. Like a dog to his vomit.
Lofi. Changs and chongs. Piano synethiser over tings.
Poetry was the next. The words that have learned karate.
The book of martial power. for monk things but non sucky. DnD DM's guild for homebrew has ruined things, in a way. Formatting once a sign of polish, polish a sign of effort. Now, with all the templating, thta's gone. (Who knew spelling mattered so much--spelling bees aside, its symply a matter of note, of indication, a divider, to make discrete, to separate.
Ethereal.
Almost. The mandatory hours between being home and going to sleep. Stretching out the time left to me. Not quite a monastic discipline, but a thing
We are what we repeatedly do. (Waste time on reddit). Fuck. Which would make us fuckers, ha ha ha. Reminds me of a reddit username--"SexHaver". Which says a lot about reddit, I guess. And then the quote I wrote and recalled and enriches my life says "Sex is like oxygen--it only matters when you aren't getting it".
The ohter half was the waiting. Open a page, click, wait. Browsing not really possible, only possible to sort of peruse. An infinite library, but a certain.. lag or delay. What's the sneakernet full of flashdrives called? Ah. High latency. got to make the message count, and so you do a lot of pre-eval.
Google used to be deep, but it's not anymore. I like to think I'm part of those 20% of searches that google has never seen before, with no preloaded results, or even anyway to preload.
Like also to think I hehlped train google, searching for thing and thing and thing. The feedback loop is really crucial--knowing what people clicked on. (But tab opening not read meant time on page irrelevant, esp i page left open for days). So I guess it's clicks on pages licked (following hte links deep) thats the real value--not only was the page valuable, but the things it lead to were valuable. A profound look at life that--not value in the thing, but valuable because it lead to the thing, like desitny, like the suddent finding of the thig.
Circular. Codetermined. We suckle at the cows teat and it suckles at ours. But we make it clean by intermediating wiht a bottle. And a butchery.
Reddit. Like stoners talking to pass the time. (Or humans, Matt? There was a thing called convesation people engaged in before they engaged in being entertained).
I can't tell. I think that the thing. It was the thing. Not quite audience, not quite screaming into the void.
The memory of overwhelming. Of how it used to be. Or how not used to be. Almost. The muse.
Coherence/decoherence. Like a modern dance, or words. Serendipity. Naval gasing naivite. Navite. Naval. Navel.
Hiding the machinery, or else ist becomes a monologue on the machinery, and who really like books about characters who are writers? It's solipscictics. And hard, because for a ound writer, writing is what you know. Perhaps why hemingway (why journalism) because you have to know a lot of things. Dresden and Butcher--many hobbies, obsolete things.A srange wealth of knowledge.
MTG card there, wealth of knowledge.
If your hand is empty, draw a card.
If you hand is empty, draw a card from your graveyard. If your hand is empty, shuffle your deck and then draw a cut. Shuffle, cut, put the top card in hand (not draw). Mechanically more complex, but less ineractive. If thins are going to be interactive, you only want small, simple well understood parts.
Go unsee your comment. Viz.
Pandemic was great for homebrew. Ferment your culture in your garage. Do your own thing. But an oppty to send out a message.
Drivethru RPG is great. All the RPG's in one place. Access for all, without all needing to maintain a separate copy. "But I want to annotate"! - print a PDF.
